We were grateful to be able to assist a young teacher and missionary, who moved to Tijuana , Mexico to help with a church plant . She helped setup and teach at the church organized Bible School , translate the Sunday morning message, and lead short term missions teams into TJ to learn the culture , and actively share their Faith.
This year, funds were also used to contribute to a local church in San Diego, who regularly assists the homeless with food and laundry money .
Another need we sent support to was an organization that rescues children from systematic abuse, exploitation, trafficking. They have been able to provide homes and families / caregivers and begin important steps toward restoration.
An organization that provides seizure medications for Malawian Children , who otherwise just live with frequent seizures have been able to be seizure free, by having their prescribed medications provided.
Another missionary who has been working in a Syrian Refugee camp in Jordan was able to help provide medical services , clothing, meals, and counseling.
